One-on-One Specialist Aquatic Instruction

At Can Do Aquatics, I provide dedicated, one-on-one aquatic instruction for children of all ages and abilities. My focus is on creating a supportive and practical learning environment, especially for children who may find group lessons challenging—including those with autism, ADHD, sensory sensitivities, and other neurodiverse ways of learning.

🤝 Fully Supported & Personal – With just the two of us in the water, your child receives my complete attention. This allows me to respond in the moment, whether that means taking a sensory break, trying a new skill, or simply building trust.

🏊 A Calm, Controlled Setting – All sessions are held in a quiet, indoor, heated ozone pool. This intentionally low-sensory environment helps reduce anxiety and overstimulation, making it easier for your child to engage and learn.

🧩 Informed by Neurodiversity – As a qualified Autism Swim Instructor with over a decade of specialised experience, I use sensory-aware techniques and flexible teaching methods that respect how your child perceives and interacts with the world.

✅ NDIS Funding Support Available – Many families successfully use their NDIS plans to access this specialised instruction. It aligns with goals around skill-building, safety, and community participation. I can help you navigate the process.

Aqua Playgroup

Aqua Playgroup is a fun and supportive introduction to the water for babies and young children (including neurodivergent children up to 5 years of age) with a parent or caregiver joining them in the pool. These sessions are designed to build early water confidence, encourage bonding, and help little ones feel safe and happy in the water.

What makes Aqua Playgroup special:

🌊 Gentle Introduction – Songs, games, and playful activities make the water a fun and positive place to be.
👶 Parent Involvement – Caregivers are in the pool, supporting and bonding with their child throughout the session.
🏊 Warm, Safe Pool – Classes are held in a quiet, indoor, heated ozone pool, perfect for babies and toddlers. Only class in at this time.
🤝 Small, Calm Groups – Sessions are run in small groups to keep the environment supportive and relaxed.
🧩 Inclusive Approach – Specifically designed to welcome children of all abilities, including those with additional needs and neurodivergence (up to 5 years).
