One-on-One Swimming Lessons

At Can Do Aquatics, I offer personalised one-on-one swimming lessons for children of all ages and abilities. My lessons are designed to support children who may not feel comfortable in mainstream swimming programs, including those with neurodiverse needs.

What makes my lessons different:

  • 🌊 Individualised Approach – Each lesson is tailored to your child’s abilities, needs, and interests.

  • 🀝 One-on-One Support – I work directly with your child, helping them progress at their own pace.

  • 🏊 Calm Environment – Lessons are held in a quiet, indoor, heated ozone pool, perfect for building water confidence.

  • 🧩 Specialised for Neurodiversity – With over 10 years as an Autism Swim Instructor, I provide lessons that are sensory-aware, flexible, and engaging.

  • βœ… NDIS-Compatible – Sessions can be claimed through NDIS funding, making swimming more accessible for families.

Lesson Goals:

  • Water safety awareness

  • Confidence in and around water

  • Learning foundational swimming skills

  • Developing stroke technique (at the child’s pace)

  • Making swimming a fun and positive experience

Aqua Playgroup

These sessions are designed to build early water confidence, encourage bonding, and help little ones feel safe and happy in the water.

What makes Aqua Playgroup special:

  • 🌊 Gentle Introduction – Songs, games, and playful activities make the water a fun and positive place to be.

  • πŸ‘Ά Parent Involvement – Caregivers are in the pool, supporting and bonding with their child throughout the session.

  • 🏊 Warm, Safe Pool – Classes are held in a quiet, indoor, heated ozone pool, perfect for babies and toddlers. Only class in at this time.

  • 🀝 Small, Calm Groups – Sessions are run in small groups to keep the environment supportive and relaxed.

  • 🧩 Inclusive Approach – Specifically designed to welcome children of all abilities, including those with additional needs and neurodivergence (up to 5 years).

Session Goals:

  • Building trust and comfort in the water

  • Developing basic water awareness and safety

  • Strengthening parent-child connection

  • Encouraging gentle social interaction

  • Laying the foundations for future swimming skills

Brith has been amazing for our 5 year old son with autism. We tried numerous different swim schools and this is the first time we’ve made progress. She’s very patient with him and understands his needs

Brith from Can Do Aquatics has been amazing for our daughter. She has been so patient working on great swimming skills with her, and our daughter is thriving and gaining more water confidence with each visit!

Claire Bush

Brith is a very kind and patient lady who is really helping our toddler to overcome his fear of water and learning to swim. Her ability to be able to adapt the program to the individual has been really beneficial in helping him

Madeleine Mercer

Brith is such a kind, patient, understanding swim teacher. She always goes above and beyond for my boy (whom does require a significant amount of assistance).

We have just wrapped up another amazing year with Brith. This year especially my daughter has come so far and gained so much confidence! Brith is patient, kind, fun and so understanding and supportive. She adapts to all the children's individual needs and goes above and beyond in all aspects. She is such a valuable part of our daughters life journey. If we could give 10 stars we would!
